Seagreen Bicycle stores are conveniently located on three of our local rail to trails, Georgetown-Lewes, Junction & Breakwater and Gordons Pond. See maps below.
Seagreen Bicycle has a large rental fleet that is perfect for the trails. We have comfort, hybrid, e-bikes and kids bikes. We also have burley trailers, tag-a-longs and child seats, so the little kids aren’t left out. Our rentals come with a helmet, lock and trail map. Click here for more information about our rentals. We also have plenty of parking at our Monroe Avenue, Lewes location with overflow parking across the street at the Lewes Library. After your ride, in season, enjoy lunch at Slo and Lo BBQ right next to our shop.
If you are a local and want to enjoy the trails on your own bike, we have a large inventory of e-bikes and comfort bikes that are perfect for our trails, beaches and rides to the farmers market. Do you need lights to ride to the fireworks? We sell accessories too. Drop by and talk to one of our many knowledgeable Sales Associates and they will help you select the right products for your riding style.
If you already own a bike, stop in and purchase a cold drink and we will top off your tires while you wait. We also provide standard tune-ups, brake adjustments, gear adjustments etc. No need to make an appointment. Just bring your bike in and we will either fix it while you wait or we will let you know how long it will take and call you when your bike is ready for pick-up.
The Georgetown-Lewes Trail starts in Lewes across the street from Seagreen Bicycle, Monroe Avenue location and ends at Fisher Rd. There are plans to continue the trail all the way to Georgetown. The trail is paved, flat and considered an easy ride. However, there are many road crossings, few bathrooms or restaurants along the way.
The Junction Breakwater and Gordons Pond trails connect Lewes to Rehoboth, via a 15 mile loop. We provide rentals at both Seagreen locations. However, parking is better at our Monroe Avenue, Lewes location. The trails are flat and the surface is crushed stone. There are many restrooms and restaurants in Lewes and Rehoboth. Budget one to two hours to make it around the loop. The Gordons Pond trail goes through Cape Henlopen State Park and the views are spectacular. Our Rental Associates will fit you and your group with bikes and helmets. They will also go over the map and answer any questions you may have.
